The scholarships are granted by the Polish government for a research stay at a chosen university in Poland within the academic year 2017-2018. The scholarships are addressed to researchers from: Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The candidates should have a bachelor or master degree preferrably in the humanities field.
The scholarship includes also a preparatory Polish language course for persons without sufficient knowledge of the language in order to be able to understand lectures and read in Polish. The scholarship amounts to PLN 1350 per month.
